Day 5 of building https://t.co/3xt4jYy4v2 in #buildinpublic. Today's plan: share the first live results. What actually happened: I found a structural problem and had to fix it before it spread. I loaded the system with my own product as the first test. Set it loose. Let it hunt. Everything worked — technically. But the setup experience was wrong. Too many steps. Too much friction. The original vision was always simple: claw install signalpipe → set a few env vars → done. The root cause: the sidecar was designed to run on a separate cloud server . That’s not a plugin that's a whole new system. The fix: embed the sidecar directly inside the OpenClaw plugin itself. What shipped today: 1. [email protected] live on npm 2. 5-tier pricing grid 3. rebuilt 4-step setup guide It was supposed to be a results day. Instead it was a deconstruction and reconstruction day.
